Mikids is a phonics
based english language learning programme
for children. Mikids is brought to India by
SIP Academy India Private Limited in association
with MIQUEST World Wide. Mikids’ well
researched programme has gained international
acceptance by educationalists world over.
It is conceptualized and developed by renowned
Linguistics and Phonetics expert Prof. Gerry
Knowles MA (Cambridge), PhD (Leeds) in department
of linguistics, Lancaster University, UK.
Mikids comprises
of interactive software, with colourful and
visually appealing characters who lead the
child through a fun world of stories, songs,
drama and rhymes.
Currently
Mikids progamme is successfully running in
Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, China and Malaysia.
In India this programme is available in Tamil
Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka across 35
leaning centres and 50 schools. 8000 children
are improving their language skills through
MI Kids everyday.
